The aim of these educational contents are to provide photographers with tools so that they can develop their own language when it comes to exhibiting their work adopting a variety of intermedia approaches. Participants become engaged with the conceptualization and materialization of their projects in diverse formats that range from the gallery venue to installations in public spaces. Articulated as a practical guide to fairs, festivals, the photography market and its rules, the course offers an overview of concepts, materials, and research methodologies. It also approaches novel languages-formats: from the exhibition to the photobook and back to the installation and interaction with other areas (photobooks, films). It is complemented by a series of exercises and by private tutorials of the students’ individual projects that lead to a final group exhibition.
